Club 50 Kayak River Trip

From David Carroll Memorial Park, Genoa, IL to Dean Awe Memorial Park, Kingston, IL. Led by Paddle On! Outfitters (www.paddleonoutfitters.com)
They will need a final head count two days prior to date selected in order to guarantee a watercraft. After then, it’s whatever is available.
The trip begins at David Carroll Memorial Park in Genoa, Illinois, located at the corner of Main St. (Rte. 72) and Madison St.
Parking will be at the take-out spot, Dean Awe Memorial Park, Kingston, IL, located near the corner of East Railroad St. (Rte. 72) and East Five Points Rd. in Kingston, IL. Upon registration and safety instructions, the shuttle will transport us to David Carroll Memorial Park.
This course is about four and one-half miles long and takes from one to three hours, depending on river conditions. If you have your own watercraft, the put-in spot has a public boat launch.
Costs include watercraft, paddle, personal flotation device, and transportation to the put-in spot. If you are not renting, a shuttle can take you to the put-in spot (at the corner of Main St. (Rte. 72) and Madison St., Genoa).

IMPORTANT: In case of low water levels on the Kishwaukee, the alternate course will be on the Fox River. The starting point will be Cornish Park in Algonquin, and the parking and take-out will be Voyageurs Landing in Elgin.
