This time of the year Lilacia park in Lombard is a fragrant and colorful place to visit. Featuring over 700 lilac bushes, this 8.5 acre horticulture showcase is at its peak right now.
Join Cindy Ward Monday at 11:30 for a leisurely walk through the park followed by lunch nearby.

Information about parking.
With this being a popular destination, parking can be tricky. Below is a map of on-street and commuter lot parking lots. On street parking is limited to 2 hours, which is ok, because we will be at the park for less than 2 hours and you will be able to move your car to the restaurant parking lot. Fee to park in the commuter lots is $1.50 before 11 a.m., then free afterwards. I find the most available parking is in Lot 2 on the map.It's about a 2 block walk.
