All visitors must show a government-issued photo ID to gain entrance. That can be a REAL ID driver’s license or a passport. Upon presenting your ID at the security gate, you must tell the security officer the purpose of your visit.

MEET

We will meet at the parking lot by the Margaret Pearson Interpretive trail on Pine Street. If the lot is full, there is overflow parking by the Lederman Science Center.

The trailhead can be accessed by either the Pine Street or Batavia Road entrances. We will be hiking a grass trail through a restored prairie and savannah. If it has been raining the day before the hike, we will hike the paved trail up to the bison pasture.

If you arrive early, the bison pasture is located at the intersection of Batavia Road and Pine Street. According to the latest news, there is at least one bison calf.
